ooh, THAT signature... I thought you meant the signature I put on my artwork... yeah, thats from Hitchhikers... I guess I should read the books, but I don't know if I want to... because they might be different then the radioshow... but you're missing out too! the BBC show is so incredibly funny, and is just all around amazing. Much better than the movie... I don't know how easy it is to get your hands on it... my dad's friend had to order it directly from London I think...

And yeah, I know I should finish Riven and exile... I've seen the end of Riven because I watched my dad play it, but that was a long time ago...But I did get really far myself.. I remember getting to where they take you to that place with that gigantic weird tree thing with all the windows.. and I wouldn't be able to start from where I left off because there are a lot of thinks I don't remember, like what the symbols mean and stuff... and I would have to play it on our old computer since it doesn't work on mine... but Exile does work on my iBook, so I think I'll play that... but now I kinda want to play Riven... but first, I have about 12 books I want to read, and I'm devoting my free time to them. Man... so much to do, so little time... and I still waste me time on the computer.
~WOWthatstotallycool:iconWOWthatstotallycool: Dec 1, 2005, 5:44:15 PM
OK, first of all- you HAVE to finish Riven and Exile! The endings of those games is what makes them good, I'm not even kidding. They are absolutely incredible. Just thinking about it makes me want to play them all over again. The end of Riven is just a dramatic change from the rest of the game (new worlds!), and the end of Exile just made me want to cry. You have options at the end of Exile. It's rather impacting. So if you got stuck in Exile just find a walkthrough to get past that one part (or just email me the question) and then get back to playing! Honestly.

And I just assumed some sort of interest in Douglas Adams when I saw 'Zaphod' in the signature. I've actually never heard the radio show, but I have read (and am reading again) the books. Again, you're missing out. The writing style, for me personally, is what makes them absolutely hilarious. Incredibly intelligent books.

Anywho, I think you should get on that. Finish Riven and Exile, get started on IV (which isn't as good, but still really good), and read the Hitchiker novels. And if ever you ever get stuck in any parts of Riven and Exile, seriously, just email me a question =P. I think I know my stuff well enough.

aw, man... they're coming out with a fifth one? I didn't even know "revelation" existed... I haven't actually beaten Riven, but I got almost to the end... It's just so time consuming... my dad beat it though..... I haven't tried playing Myst Exile in quite a while.. I didn't get very far, and I got stuck... so far I don't like the graphics in Myst Exile as much as in Riven, but I guess I can't judge it yet since I haven't gotten very far... If only I had the time.. I don't even really have the time to be on the computer now, but I'm here anyway... I should do that over winter break...

And yes, I am a Douglas Adams fan, but... I don't know what my signature has to do with it.. =p... I've listened to all the BBC radio episodes many times.. (they came before the books)... I haven't actually read the books, but I don't feel guilty about that since the radio show came first. And people who have read the books tend to hate Zaphod, but in the radio show he's my very favourite character..and he has the coolest voice ever. And an ego the size of the universe.
~WOWthatstotallycool:iconWOWthatstotallycool: Nov 30, 2005, 6:08:02 PM
II III and IV are Riven, Exile, and Revelation. I think, I could be wrong, but the final one is out, V. Or it's out soon. I'm so afraid to play it, because the saga will be over afterwards. I'm still working on IV though. Myst was incredible. Incredibly easy in comparison to the others, but they're all so incredibly good.

I'm so glad there's other Myst fans other than myself :). I  Atrus!

Judging by your signature- are you a Douglas Adams fan, by any chance?

omigosh, I just noticed you like the Myst games... I LOVE them. They're so incredibly amazing.... but I didn't know there was a II, III and IV... I thought it was just Myst, Riven, and Myst Exile.. (I love Riven).

wow, cloud cult and radiohead are your favorite bands?

okay, first of all- you're awesome for knowing who cloud cult is because I know barely anyone who's heard of them.
second- I love radiohead to death! And I love you for loving radiohead. And I want to see them sooo bad.
third- you live in Canada, and that makes you cool.

it's sad when the excitement of a new comment is totally shattered when you realize it's only a chain letter.

i will not send this to 15 people just to spite you.

and because i don't know 15 people.

feel the guilt.
